Tatiana (Afro Caribbean)
Tatiana is an acclaimed Afro-Caribbean restaurant located in Lincoln Center’s David Geffen Hall opened in November 2022 by chef Kwame Onwuachi. Named after his sister, the restaurant serves as a tribute to Onwuachi’s roots and the culinary traditions of the Bronx, where he grew up. The menu features dishes that blend West African, Caribbean, and New York influences, such as short rib pastrami suya and egusi dumplings, reflecting the diverse flavors of his childhood. Tatiana has quickly gained recognition for its vibrant atmosphere and high-quality food. It was rated three stars by The New York Times, which also named it the best restaurant in New York City in 2023. Additionally, it is a semifinalist for the James Beard Foundation Awards’ Best New Restaurant category for 2024.
