Located in the space formerly occupied by the Italian restaurant Cesca, Sempre Oggi opened in March 2024. The restaurant is the brainchild of Robert Guarino, known for his successful ventures including Marseille and Nizza. Sempre Oggi is backed by restaurateur Robert Guarino who is behind Playa Betty’s and 5 Napkin Burger. The restaurant’s name, which translates to “Always Today,” reflects its commitment to embracing the present moment and showcasing the best of seasonal ingredients. At the helm of Sempre Oggi’s kitchen is Chef Phillip Basone, whose culinary background includes stints at establishments like Barbuto and Le Crocodile.
