Baazi

Modern Indian restaurant that has been serving residents of the community since Chef Gaurav Anand opened the restaurant in January 2022. Eater New York has recently included them on their list of “Best Indian Restaurants in NYC”. The name “Baazi,” meaning “bet” in Hindi, reflects Anand’s decision to create a sophisticated dining experience that diverges from conventional Indian fare. Guests can expect dishes like Chicken Cafreal, Trout Recheado, and Cod Koliwada fish and chips—all showcasing lighter flavors and creative presentations. Baazi’s ambiance features a two-level layout adorned with a Mediterranean-inspired decor, including a striking flower wall and a live olive tree.
