Hippo Playground

Originally built in 1937, this playground became a destination in 1993 when a community group commissioned a designer to create the hippo sculptures. The playground has swings, slides, metal play equipment, a spray shower and a sand pit. Located in Riverside Park at 91st Street & Riverside Drive. riversideparknyc.org
